The Aux lead (I didn't use the yamaha isolator lead mention above, just a regular 10 gauge wire) from both engines where connected to the house battery and the house battery negative terminal was connected to the other batteries.

Your 225 hp requires alot more juice than a 50 hp to get her to run. If you fish off shore, you really should concider dual batteries.

Li can be depleted to about the 20% level without damage, whereas a lead acid battery is stated to have a 50% level. Much great life in discharge/charge cycles.
