WebDGMS is just one among quite a large number of MS societies all over the world that are associated to the International Mass Spectrometry Foundation (IMSF). Here we provide a link collection to these MS societies in aphabetical order (may not be complete). American Society for Mass Spectrometry, ASMS From 2008 to 2013, Heeren was the research director for emerging technologies at the Netherlands Proteomics Centre. In 2014, he was appointed to his current position as one of the scientific directors of M4I at Maastricht University. He was president of the Dutch Society of Mass Spectrometry between 2001–2005. He is one of the founding members of the Mass Spectrometry Imaging Society, and was elected its president in 2024.
