Web7 jun. 2024 · An eductor is a device that works on the Bernoulli’s principle. Bernoulli’s principle states that increase in speed of a fluid occurs simultaneously with decrease in pressure or decrease in fluids potential energy. The eductor works on the Venturi effect, it does not require any moving parts to transfer energy from one fluid to another. WebBoth the Water Jet Eductor and the Steam Jet Syphon can be used for the handling of corrosive or abrasive liquids and solids. Their design simplicity, the absence of moving parts, and because they can be made from any machineable material, make them ideal for a multitude of applications. WebEductor-jet pump. Eductor-jet pumps are used if the water level on the suction side is too low for the suction lift operation of a normal pump. They transport fluids with relatively small flow rates of up to approximately 10 m3/h from narrow deep wells where the water level is up to 40 m below ground level (especially in the USA). WebEjectors can also be called eductors or jet pumps, although some only use the term eductors when the motive fluid is a liquid. An ejector is based upon Bernoulli’s principle, which states that when the speed of a fluid increases, its pressure decreases, and vice versa. Figure 1 shows the basic components of an ejector designed for use with gas. nrs speed contest
